Established in 1981 by a small group of consultants interested in encouraging professionalism and expanding their businesses, MSPC has grown into a unique business resource for both consultants and their clients in the Midwest and throughout the world.
Over the past two decades the Midwest Society of Professional Consultants (MSPC) has been a vital link in the chain of management decision making. It offers a point of connection between experts in many disciplines and the businesses they serve. MSPC also provides a collegial bond among these entrepreneurial consultants, many of whom are sole practitioners. It is one of the largest professional organizations of independent consultants in the United States.
Many members consider professional development and education two of the primary benefits of their membership in MSPC. Each monthly meeting of the Society features networking and seminars to help members understand issues of importance to the professional consultant.
Meeting programs address practice-development issues as well as broader business topics of interest to members. Workshops are led by experts and include question-and-answer periods with plenty of opportunity to get needed information.
Whether it's marketing insights for entrepreneurs, fee-setting strategies, tax and legal considerations or how to sell professional services, MSPC meetings provide information that is useful for established consultants as well as those who are just starting their business. When appropriate, MSPC offers longer, in-depth workshops on specific subjects.
In addition to educational workshops, each regular meeting offers formal and informal networking opportunities and includes dinner. Business attire requested.
MSPC meets on the first Wednesday of the month except on a holiday.
