Selling in a Tough Economy and a more Competitive Marketplace

Are you tired of hearing about the “soft” economy and that decisions are “on hold” and that budgets are “tied up”…  Do these objectives stop you in your tracks when you’re developing new business and prospecting?   It’s a FACT:  selling the “OLD WAY” won’t work in this type of economy.

This session will highlight:

  • How to “keep prospects on the phone...and make decisions to see you.”

  • How to develop a plan for prospecting and new business to “keep the pipeline full.

  • How to work smart, tap into warm markets and create business!

 Presenter: Phil Kash
Strategic Consulting Group, LLC - Buffalo Grove, Illinois

Phil Kash, is Executive Vice President and principal of Selling Dynamics.  Having been responsible for sales, marketing and business development professionals for nearly 20 years, Phil is qualified to develop and present proven strategies and real world, practical information to his audiences to become successful and effective business owners, managers and sales professionals.

His approach is “real world” not “seminar theory” so you’ll come away with a better understanding to creating positive long term outcomes in your personal and professional roles.  Drawing from his experience in sales management, sales and business development, account management and marketing management, Phil’s background includes a diverse range of products for entrepreneurial family-owned businesses and start-up companies to FORTUNE 500 companies as well.  Today in his role as partner in Selling Dynamics, Phil continues to actively sell, prospect and manage clients relationships in addition to the high performance training and development programs he personally conducts.

Announcements/Introductions: 6:15 P.M.

Break/Informal Conversations: 6:40 P.M.

Dinner: 7:00 P.M.

Structured Networking Program:  8:00 P.M.

The after dinner program will be a structured networking session aimed at increasing the level of the comfort in referring members and guests to current and potential clients.  Tonight's session will provide an opportunity for consultants to connect with each other.  Participants will get to exchange business cards with nearly everyone in attendance and they'll have the opportunity to practice presenting their 1-minute verbal business cards.  Participants will learn to use elements of this process for future networking opportunities, while sharing common interests, mutual needs, potential relationships and business development ideas.
